scribbles.

hi I'm ariza. I'm an internet freak. I'm addicted to movies and video editing. Music is a gift. Astronomy interests me. My favorite color is blue but if black and white are colors I'd choose them too. I talk random, I sing in the shower, and I do think that everybody deserves to be happy :) and oh I still read books so I guess I have a life after all.

PS. Scribbles is my my favorite word ;)

This is a Crazy Planets by Lourd de Veyra (2011)
This is a collection of Lourd de Veyra’s supposedly best entries from his blog, This Is A Crazy Planets, and published by the company that hosts his blog, Summit Media.
Lourd de Veyra is a three-time Palanca awardee. He graduated from UST with a degree in Journalism. He’s in several shows in TV 5 (I think) and he’s also the front man of Radioactive Sago Project.
Obviously, he’s really smart and it shows through his articles. They’re funny and witty but not without sense. He criticizes (or, sometimes, just pokes fun at) almost everything and everyone, from the President to Kris Aquino (twice in this compilation) to men wearing sando in public to this generation’s colloquialism. And he does so with a dash of intelligent humor in all of them.
It’s a really light and easy read that touches on a lot of Filipino pop culture. Highly recommended during the dreary morning commute to work.

Permalink and HAPPY CHRISTMAS!
Permalink also just started reading this book. through with the first few pages but can hardly understand. It’s just so vague. I read from some internet sites that the author was high from marijuana when he wrote this one. maybe that’s why. I’m really trying to understand it though. Tomorrow I’ll try to read it again. It’s a looong way to go.
